What is Electrolysis
Electrolysis is the only proven method of permanent hair removal by use of heat and electrical current to completely destroy the hair follicle. The goal of electrolysis is to destroy the hair follicle to prevent further growth of unwanted hair through the use of specialized equipment generating an electrical current.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide students with a detailed overview of Electrolysis theory and hands-on practical training designed to help students understand the theoretical side of how permanent hair removal works. Course Philosophy
In this course, it is expected that students will work to achieve a basic understanding of electrolysis practice. It is hoped that everyone will develop consistent best practices expected in a salon or spa setting A focus of consistent/best practice, infection control and proper technical skills while performing the treatment is emphasized in this course.
This course will cover both Online Theory with in-class practical.
